Simple DIY Process

    • Neon Chartreuse – brightest glow with a slight yellow tint; faintly visible in daytime on a bright white background. Glows for hours at night. (Best suited for bold spaces; may not be ideal for light-sensitive sleepers.) Use on bright white to taupe walls
    • Atlantis Aqua – invisible by day but second-brightest glow; more subtle than yellow; glows on taupe to white backgrounds.
    • Deep Space Blue – subtle glow compared to the other 2, cool tone with less pop; good for for bedrooms or plaster applications; works best on brighter colored backgrounds. needs 5 coats to shine
  2. Coverage
    • Quart: approx. 65 sq ft (8 × 8 ft wall)
    • Gallon: approx. 260 sq ft (4 walls of 8 × 8 ft)
      Coverage may vary by color—Neon Chartreuse and Aqua may require fewer coats (3–4) for strong effect vs the subtle deep space blue

 

2. What you’ll need from your local home-improvement store

  • Quart or Gallon poly-acrylic urethane (as base)
  • Plastic graduated mixing pail for measuring & mixing
  • Wooden paint stir stick
  • Dense foam roller (not soft or spongy)
  • Optional: painter's tape

3. Follow simple instructions for step by step mixing and application 

  1. Mix our proprietary non-toxic suspension agent ingredient with water—this keeps glow particles evenly suspended.
  2. Combine the hydrated suspension with poly-acrylic base.
  3. Gradually mix in the non-toxic glow pigment.
  4. Roll on thin, even coats—use all the paint for maximum brightness.

Our formula uses pure, non- toxic non-encapsulated pigment, which gives a noticeably brighter glow than many pre-mixed paints that rely on encapsulated powders. Because it’s DIY, you mix it fresh before use — that means the glow pigment hasn’t been sitting suspended for months, and you get maximum brightness each time.

We also include our secret sauce suspension agent in the kit. This keeps the glow particles evenly distributed in the mixture so they don’t sink to the bottom, helping the paint apply correctly for the brightest glow on the market.

How many years will glow walls last?

20! can you believe that?

What if in the future I don't want the glow walls anymore? 

Simply Paint over them 

Glow designs aren't permanent right?

no they fade like invisible ink

Will walls have a general glow at night or only with UV lights? 

If your room is exposed to bright natural light you will see a fainter glow of paint strokes in Neon Chartreuse and Aqua when your eyes adjust to the dark especially. if you are a sensitive to light sleeper we don't recommend Neon Chartreuse for bedrooms as it is a mega glow that can last hours. 

Tell me about product safety

Our proprietary suspension agent ingredient is skin safe and non toxic. The glow pigment is a lab made phosphorescent called Strontium Aluminate made with earth elements which are non toxic, non radioactive and safe for consumer use. You should avoid inhaling dust particles and eye contact as it can irritate mucous membranes. Also important: like all lasers do not shine the laser in eyes.

What color should my base wall be?

The whiter the brighter! That being said neon chartreuse and Aqua will also shine on taupe toned walls. Our glow paints are transparent by day with the exception of neon chartreuse which has a slight yellow tint on brighter whites though hides under cream and taupe tones.

What effects do the different lights have

The lasers are crisp and piercing and can create stunning bright thin lines from a distance! The other uv lights are designed to be used close proximity to the walls and are good for creating chunky lines ( zoom light)  tracing objects and leaving patterns ( the spotlight), and for penmanship 

( keychain)  For the ultimate experience and multiple users we recommend out UV light kit! most customers upgrade the UV kit who have bought our quart starter kit. 

If I don't want to paint my walls how else can I use this glow paint in a less permanent way

We love making a 4x4 cotton canvas into a glow canvas that's portable! we like to bring these to parties and festivals! It's the same process just on a packable fabric! You can use a painters canvas or even a canvas drop cloth. Fabric will absorb the paint so we suggest a  4x4 - 5x5 size with our quart kit! also you can paint finish plywood white, ad the glow paint  and add some frames for a less permanent wall accent! we also sell the pigment which can be added to resins and epoxy projects, used for nail art, crafts, you can even use it with clear fabric paint to make glow clothing! we have the best price per lb for glow pigment on the internet

Do I have to use your UV lights

No any powerful uv light or or UV laser will work on our paint! That being said we package our UV light kit to be more economical than purchasing individual lights and have tested these lights for their high performance with the paint!
